Time Flies
Time sure seems to be flying by, it's almost June! I don't get near enough done around here, but what else is new. I had good intentions about getting outside more this spring...but my inside jobs seem to take up most of my time, and I forget to make myself go out everyday, if it's nice.
It's hot this week, which isn't helping matters...but hopefully today I can go out, at least in the evening, if not this afternoon. I didn't get out till almost dark last night, and then I don't stay long, or take photos of anything. LOL We HAVE to get our garden in now that it's probable not going to freeze...but DH keeps busy on other things so hasn't tilled an area for the tomatoes yet...but I guess I could at least get my beets in, since they are going in the raised beds. *sigh* Course the cows being out, is kinda hindering things too...since they might find the "garden" a little to enticing.
I did make myself sit here and scrap this morning, before I get started on other things that need done. I guess at the rate I'm going I'm going to be lucky to get this years photos scrapped this year, let along do many from lst year. LOL These photos were taken last month when I was enjoying watching the butterflies and bees around the apple tree. I used a kit I won, and had lots of fun with it!!
Kit Credit: For My Mom by Rena Designs. Thanks for letting me play Rena! :)
Yesterday, just before I started supper, I was in the kitchen skimming cream and starting some milk to clabbor for cheese, when I noticed DH was having a little bit of trouble getting the cows to go in for the evening. I hurried up and finished what I was doing, then put my shoes on and went out to help. Daisy really didn't want to go in for some reason, they don't always want to, but usually don't give that much trouble. Since I was out there, I went in while she was eating her supper and put my hand on her side, to feel for her baby. It was really active last night, I got several good kicks, and could even see it move, not just feel it.
I so LOVE feeling babies move before they are born, I always wanted to hold my hand on our dogs tummy, when they were getting close to time to have their babies, cause there is something so neat about feeling that little life, moving around in their tummies. It's so cool to be able to feel Daisy's baby moving around to...and every chance I get, I have to put my hands on her side, to feel it. I can't wait till it's born though, and hope all goes well with the birth...this will be our first calf born here!! :)
Well gotta run, and get to work on cheese and housework. Hope everyones week is going good. Take Care.
