Got DH's blog changed!!
I finally got DH's blog switched over to the new design...that looks like mine, only different colors and banner and pages. This will make it easier to change, if I ever decide I want to change the background, and keeps the two blogs easier to work on, since they are now both the same. I tried to make it "him" too, but it was kinda hard, since he didn't care if I did anything or not, so wouldn't give me any input. Men...some of them are just no help when it comes to things like this, and I've got one of them. LOL
Anyway, feel free to wander over there and check it out, and leave me some suggestions if you have any for me. I've got some new pages fixed up for across the top, and made a new banner for him that we both like better, (see above) at least he did say he liked that better...or at least I think that's what he meant, when he said he liked the photo better on the new one. :) I love that man to death, but he isn't a lot of help, when it comes to "designs" or "decorating" cause he just doesn't care about that kinda thing, (on his blog or in our house) and within reason would let me do what ever I wanted to, to our decor. LOL His blog is HERE!
Our poor Daisy and her calf had a hard day on Sunday. It was time to put some dehorning paste on the calf, and he had to be off by himself for most of the day, so it wouldn't get licked off. So poor Daisy was worried about her baby, and wouldn't go out and graze, and he just lay in the barn sulking. LOL They were happy to get back together that evening...although Daisy was still mad the next morning at milking time. She wouldn't stand still and stay in one spot, and kept hitting DH with her tail. She was better by that night, but I think she thought we were going to keep him from her again so she was just letting us know she didn't like that idea. LOL He still haven't been banded...but that is coming soon, so this just isn't going to be his week. Least he can stay with mom for that. *giggle*
It's been a long day for me, so I need to get off here and go to bed. For some reason I couldn't sleep to good last night, and had to get up early so we could go to the city and so now I really need some sleep, so I'm off to bed soon! Hope everyone is having a good week, it seems it's going to be a really busy one around here...but hopefully I'll manage to post again before the weekend. Have a great week!
Dehorning paste??? Never heard of such a thing!

Yep using Dehorning paste is better because it causes less pain, there is less blood, and it's cheaper than having the vet do it later when the horns grow out. Course this was the first time we have used it, so hopefully we did it right so they don't grow out. :)
ReplyDeleteI like yours and Galens new look on your blogs.
ReplyDeleteGood work.
I bet the calf was real happy to get back with Daisy. LOL
Yeah, he was happy but, now he's singing an octave or two higher....
