Photo sessions

More Anniversary Photos

With our 20th anniversary coming up tomorrow, I've been trying to get some photos of us the last two days. I have been meaning to way before now, but just never got around to it. *sigh* Time just flies by and I can't seem to get everything done.

Today's photos turned out the best, in that there weren't so many shadows on them, although we did have a little trouble with the wind and my hair, but least they are better photos, so we will stick with them I think.

Yesterday's photos didn't turn out so well, because the sun was out, and the tree that was between the sun and us had lost most of it's leaves...a good reason to have gotten it done sooner. LOL So we had shadows across us in the photos, where the branches of the tree were. Not a real good thing for photos, even though I really liked DH's expression on the close up one.

Anniversary Photos

I tried both close and full body photos yesterday, and found I preferred the close...that way I could crop more, and make sure I only had what I wanted showing in the photo. This is the full body one I posted on flicker yesterday, so you can see the light and shadowed spots all over us. LOL

Tomorrow I'll show a couple more that I took today, in my short anniversary post. Not sure what we will be doing tomorrow, but I'm sure we will think of something, and spend a little quality time together.

I've spent entirely to much time on this today, so better get busy, so I can get several things done today and have time to spend together being lazy tomorrow...if we decide to be lazy anyway. LOL

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far! :-))

  1. The pictures turned out great! Very nice!!!!!!

I need to find the time (with the correct weather conditions) to get this years homeschool portraits done of my kids. I usually do them in August, and here it is October, and no pictures. :( ... Though, the first year I did them myself, I did them in November, so I keep telling myself there is time. *rofl* ... I am hoping we can do it during Joe's vacation the first week of November, as we will both have some time off work together.
