Finally a couple of layouts.
I finally managed to get a couple more layouts done. Things are just not allowing me to get them done this week, like I would like. I have had quite a few things to catch up one, and just haven't felt like scrappin I guess, with everything that has been going on the past couple weeks. Hopefully next week, I can get back to doing more, as I need to get back to doing Mom and Dad's album, and would love to do some more heritage ones too. I really need to go looking through my kits and find a heritage looking one, that will inspire me to actually do some heritage layouts, cause I have kinda been away from them for a little while. I need to actually continue with my album I started, and I think I am ready to do a page for two of my Uncles, so hopefully I can do that soon.
A friend of mine, who had Breast Cancer, just found out she has some more tumers, very likely, in other parts of her body. She will find out more tomorrow, as they just did tests on Tuesday, and tomorrow is when she goes back to the doctor to find out what they found. She said she talked to the doctor yesterday, and they found a couple "hot spots" which I don't know what that means, but it can't be great news, I woudn't think. She is in my prayers.
These layouts are of my niece when she was little.
Kit Credit for both: Summer Sands kit by Deborah Vessels at DigiZines
Speaking of DigiZines, their store is now open, so if you like their things you can go visit them on their home page, and click the boutique button, and it will take you to their store! They are also having some sales in Dec. so don't miss them!!!
I noticed that the Scrap Habit will be changing. They won't be having their challenges (at least not the same ones, and what they do have you have to use Alma's kits which is fine, if you have any, but I haven't been able to afford any lately, so hmmmm guess I won't be playing), and you can only post in their gallery if you use one of Alma's kits now even with out doing the challenges. I really enjoyed that site, and the fact that they didn't mind links. I have to admit, I didn't figure it would stay open, at least not in the same way, so I am not really surprised. I guess since I can't post layouts there now, I will try Digital Freebies. They too allow linking to the kit, at least so far, so I guess they are a good enough replacement for The Scrap Habit. LOL I actually have liked some of their designers for a while (Lara Payton being my Favorite, I just can't afford to buy to many kits, which is why I don't use more of hers) but haven't really ever posted in their forum, or gallery. I haven't even ever really looked around their forum to be truthful. I just went to their store, and their friday freebie, and blog. I suppose now, I will have to go check out their forum, and see what they do.
I hope you all are having a good week, and will have a great weekend!

And I have been gone for several days again helping a brother-in-law move so don't know alot, but She found out that at least one of the "hot spots" was a cracked rib so thats at least not cancer, the other two spots I don't know about yet, she has more tests this week.
