Beautiful Belle

I LOVE this photo of my niece! LOL I took it the evening of my Grandmothers funeral, she was holding one of the flowers from one of the arangements, and wearing the hat my DH bought her that afternoon. (more on the hat later! LOL) I took 4 pictures two with the hat, and two without, and they all turned out pretty good. I love the little bit of pink, of her undershirt, and the hat and the flower. Even though the two with the hat and the two without the hat are pretty close to being the same (with each other) I will probably have to use all 4 of them eventually in layouts, cause I love them so much! Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!!! Ok, Kali, I will (maybe) stop embarrassing you!

Ok, about that hat! If you could see it better, you would see that its a John Deere hat. And if you recall (or caught it in an earlier post) my DH doesn't like John Deere! So, you ask, why is he buying her anything with John Deere on it? Well, (again) if you remember from an earlier post, he owed her for getting her a "mean" gift last November, so he saw this at a truck stop on our way back to Mom and Dad's from the funeral, so he bought it for her. He asked if that would make up for it, and since she was very pleased with it, she told him it would! LOL It matches the sweatshirt we bought her in November too! Do you think she let him off to easy? Of course she probably took into account that he HATES John Deere when she said yes! I don't really like to wear hats, but I think it looks great on her!! (even if it is John Deere! )

Well we are getting a little snow now, and when I got up this morning I heard some sleet hitting my office window, but we really haven't gotten much yet. I am thankful we haven't gotten much ice, for sure!!! LOL the road is mostly white, with a dusting on the grass, but so far, thats all I can really see on the ground. Its not really comming down very hard. We will see what we have when we get up in the morning. Stay warm everyone!
