A New Store!!

I'm opening my new store early, because I was having a problem with my blog store, and didn't want to end up with YOU having trouble with it. So since it was operational I thought I'd just go ahead a switch to the zencart store, and finish the behind the scenes part, after I'm open. I won't have a "Grand Opening" until I'm all done with it, so it will be later in September, or even the first of October, like I had originally planned on. This way however I don't have to worry about the blog store, on top of trying to get this new one finished up. LOL

I just wanted to let my blog readers know about the new store, in case you pushed on the shop link on my home page, or here on my blog, that way you wouldn't wonder what was going on. There is even a gallery where you can share the layouts you have done with my kits, if you want, or just visit to see layouts made with my kits. So far it only has my layouts in it, but hopefully eventually some of you will share yours! :) I'd love to see them.

Don't forget to read your welcome mail, as it has a welcome coupon...and I shouldn't say this, but if you save it for the grand opening, you can save even more, as I plan on having a small Grand Opening sale!!

Be sure and sign up for the store newsletter also, because once in a while, you may find a coupon code in it too, and it will ONLY be IN the newsletter! Don't worry, the newsletter won't be so often that you get really sick of hearing from me, but I will send one when I have new product, (which as you all know, isn't even once a week) and/or news such as if I happen to be having a sale(which won't be real often either). You can continue getting my blog entries in your inbox, as sale news and product news will be announced here too, but for the special newsletter coupon codes...those will ONLY be in the newsletter.

For those of you in my Google group, if you would rather just receive product updates, feel free to unsub from the group, and sign up for the newsletter. Since I don't have as many new freebie's anymore, I can either put them on my blog for a short time, or in my store for a short time. Then if they are a freebie I want to have longer, they will go onto the freebie page of the Google group, with the other freebie's that are still active. Of course I will try to keep a few in the store, so there are some that people can try out, to see if they like our products, before buying any.

As you can see, I've been busy on more than just canning, which is why I've been so slow doing layouts, hopefully soon I can get back to doing more of them too. I'm actually a little amazed that I got the store up and running, especially this soon, but I did have a little help from some friends so I have to thank them so much for their help and support!! Thanks Vanessa, Lara and Jamie!!! You are the BEST!!

Also a special thanks to my wonderful hubby, for putting up with me, when I was so busy, trying to work on the site, between working on apples and other things that came up. I'm sure he will be thankful when I'm pretty much finished, and we can get back to normal. :) I think I can breath a little easier now though, because I'm almost finished with the canning, and I don't have to rush so much on whats left on the store, as its just minor things, so maybe it won't be so bad from now on....I'm hoping anyway! LOL Layouts may not pick up right away, but least I can get a little more sleep! :)

Feel free to let me know if you see anything that needs changed....or fixed....or just tell me what you think of the new store. This is my first time building a site like this, so its been a learning experience, although the geeky side of me enjoyed it for the most part, least when I wasn't stuck on something, it did. LOL
