Another busy scrappin day!

Well between loads of laundry, dishes, and being tired, I managed 10 more LO's today!! I think I was able to do so many, while doing my chores is because I didn't get interrupted for other things, since DH was gone with the neighbor, picking up his new tractor. (He is really happy to have it home! LOL) I might have managed more, had I not had trouble thinking of some titles...those slowed me down today.

This first layout is from when we went to the sod buster's show. This couple walked by at the end of the tractor parade with these two doxie's hooked up to a mini, homemade plow, I thought it was so funny and cracked up laughing along with everyone else that was there. The highlight of the parade for me...but then I adore doxie's, and tractor's are just....well tractors. *giggle*

This next layout is a real plow being pulled by horses. LOL It to was at the sod busters show.

The next layout shows DH driving a tractor for a friend, in the parade...well and the friend on his too of course. DH really enjoyed that, as he loves any excuse to drive his (or anyone else's) tractors. LOL

This next layout is when we brought our new billy home from my parents house. The nannies (or doe's as most people call them...I grew up with "nannies" so that's what I call them.) wouldn't hardly let him in the gate, they were so interested in him. It was so funny watching them...must have something to do with the time of the year....maybe? LOL

This last layout shows two sights from my parents house, that I always remember growing up. We always had a wood pile, and always added to it, every summer, to be ready for winter. It wasn't my favorite job, but oh I did enjoy the warm wood stove in the middle of winter. Wood heat keeps you so much warmer than any other kind, it seems to me like. We've had gas heat since we got married, with only a couple years of having a wood stove hooked up in the kitchen...(till this year...yippee, am really looking forward to it this winter! LOL) and I have to tell you, I'm usually cold most of the winter...although that could have something to do with being stingy, and not turning the heat up very high. However, when I was growing up, I might be a little cool when I first woke up, till the fires got going, but after that, all I had to do was go stand by one, to warm up, if I got cold. Yep, gotta love those wood stoves!

The other photo of the pump, is another sight I remember from my growing up years, because that's where we got our water from...we didn't have running water, so that was an important part of my child hood...since water is a must too. LOL I've always loved pumps, they are so cool looking, and make me remember my childhood.

I would like to point out, that this last layout with the photo blending is a classic example of why you may want to use the blending technique. The pump photo isn't the best photo, its a little on the blurry side. (One of those times my camera decided it just didn't want to give me a good photo, don't know what it's problem is, it happens all to often.) Anyway, I so wanted to scrap the photo, but hate using photos that are blurry, so I thought I'd blend it into the background, change the opacity a little, and maybe it wouldn't be noticed...course then naturally I turn around and tell you, but I just wanted to let you know you can still use those not so perfect photos! *giggle* Even if you have photos that aren't real good, don't just toss them, try to think of a way you can still use them, so you will have those memories for later.

Well that's it for today, as usual, I'm not going to post the other ones I did today, as I have some things to do before bed, so I better get off here! Thanks so much for your comments! :)
