A couple pages

Gosh, Golly, Gee, I love kits with clusters when I'm behind with my scrappin...which is most of the time now. *giggle*

I finished a couple pages of Kali's book today!! Yippee!!! I used a couple clusters on the first layout and one on the bottom of the 2nd layout and it made the page pretty, and go oh so much faster...its to bad I can't do that on a ton of pages, so I can get lots more done. LOL I have GOT to get going on Kali's book, or it won't be finished...except for Graduation photos....by her Graduation. I really don't want much left except for the graduation photos, when we go over to her Graduation, because then I'll be able to get the last few pages finished up, when we come home, and get the book off to be published, so she isn't waiting forever for her Graduation gift from us. So I'm going to have to speed up with her pages, and try to do more each week.

The first layout is a photo I took when Mom & I saw Kali in town, and gave her her birthday gift...we didn't go to her house on her birthday, so couldn't give it to her then, and that's the only photo I have of her birthday. The 2nd layout is one of our visits to her house, with Uncle Orison.

It felt good to scrap today, even if I was in a hurry, trying to get it done as quickly as possible. I even have some dinner roll dough rising in the kitchen, so as you can see today I'm finally feeling a little more like doing something...DH kinda had a relapse, but hopefully I'll skip one of those myself. LOL I've gotta get some taco spices mixed up, so I don't have to do that every time I want taco's....and so I can get all the spices put away.

I stopped buying those little packets of the taco spice, because I couldn't find one that didn't upset my tummy...I finally decided it was the milk they put in it, so figured I better go out on the net and find out how to make my own...store bought milk just doesn't agree with me...including dried milk that they put in taco seasoning. Thankfully I have no problem with our wonderful fresh goat milk....and am counting the weeks till we will start having it again, and let me tell you....its WAY TO LONG!! *giggle* I'm going to have to freeze more milk next winter, because the two pumpkin pies I made for Thanksgiving, used up quite a lot of what I had saved this year. I'm Thanking God for the extra freezer space, we now have, so I can do more of that kinda thing!!!

Anyway, I guess I've bored you enough for today, and I should get busy in the kitchen again, so I'll shut up!! LOL I hope you all are having a good week, take care and thanks so much for your comments. :)

I love clusters too! ... I've been trying to play catch up, so I've been "cheating" and using a lot of quickpages and templates... Maybe someday I will be caught up. (ya right!)

I haven't been posting the layouts on my blog anymore. I have ALL my layouts in a special Flickr gallery. :D
