I'm still here

Yep, I've been here, just not doing anything much of interest, to post about. Guess that's what happens in the winter, especially when my mind seems to be blank. I did finally get back to my computer today, and use a template I had found from Mrs Wresh to do these two layouts. I wasn't feeling like trying to figure out how to layout out several photos, so looked through some I had gotten a while ago, and found this one. It worked, so I went with it. These are two layouts for my niece's book (of course). :) Kit Credit: Family Memories Dec. Colab from godigitalscrapbooking.com.

Well like I said, not a whole lot going on the last week exciting...for me anyway. We did go to DH's Aunt's birthday party for a short time, which was kinda fun. But we didn't stay real long, as we had some other things going on too. We also got DH a new computer this last week, and got it set up, he is happy about that...however I sure wish we could have waited a bit longer. DH will probably never use a lot of what his new one has but he did need one, cause his other one was really making him pull his hair out...and he didn't have all that much left to pull, so I figured I better let him get a new one! *giggle* I want a new one now, cause the hard drives they have in them now are SOOOO much bigger than mine, and more ram....bummer, I guess that's going to have to go on my want list now.

Anyway, I have gotten the painting and staining finished up...did the last couple boards this morning, so as soon as DH gets the coats of varnish on them, he can put up the last shelf...oh wait, he still has to make me one in a different area, but maybe it won't need stained. Then maybe I can get a few more things put away, that have been sitting on my kitchen counter for a week or two. It's taken a little to long to finish the painting and staining, cause I couldn't do it outside, and didn't have a big area to do it inside, so had to do just two or three boards at a time. What a pain, but it worked I guess. LOL Its one of those projects I shouldn't have wanted done till summer...but then he wouldn't have had time to do it in the summer, as he works outside more then. It will be so wonderful to have it done though before then, because unless our milk goats don't end up having babies, we will be getting more milk, and I want to be able to use the cream separator in the kitchen, without having to set it up each and every time. This way it will have a home and be ready to use, when I need to!

Well I better get off here, and get some things done. I really HAVE to get to work on cleaning my office soon, cause DH has really been going through his office, and its starting to make mine look bad, usually his is the worst room in the house. ROFL But I'm working on the kitchen today, so better get to it. I do hope you all are having a wonderful week!! Thanks so much for your comments. :)

    Yeah - well.
I HAD hair when we got married! Almost a full head - and it was dark. Now look. Gone on top and turning grey.
