Kali's Book

I've gotten a couple more pages of Kali's book finished up. I'm coming close to getting it done, unless I go and add some pages, that is except of course for any photo's we get between now and her Graduation photos. I think I will try to get it into the book software soon, so I can see it together, and know what I have. That way it's pretty much ready to go, when we get back from her Graduation, and I get those last few LO's done.

This first layout is of her in 2002. She has been a cheerleader for several years now, so I thought I better include a page about that...even if they are older photos. LOL I don't usually use black kits, but liked this kit, and it went with her uniform, and worked nicely for the opposite page, so I used it.

This 2nd photo is about loosing her half sister, the sad times have to go in there too. I wanted to be sure her baby brother and sister were remembered also, which is why there is a page for each in her book.

Yesterday it was really warm here, almost hot even, and today it's back to being cold. We may even get a snow storm here on Friday they are saying. So maybe winter is back for a while, I've been wondering where it was, even though I do enjoy the warmer days. :)

I may have actually won, in my fight with getting sick *knock on wood* because yesterday (and today so far) I feel fine. Yippee!! LOL I think Rascal may have gotten it though, as yesterday he was draggin, and when I was fixing some hamburgers for lunch he didn't even bark and do his happy dance, like he usually does when he knows I have his favorite food out (hamburger). He had me a little worried, because he ALWAYS insists on having some, and tells me all about it, till I give him some. Thankfully by evening he was doing a little better.

I went out to the barnyard again yesterday since it was so warm, and was enjoying watching the goats so much I totally missed two of the best photos. Star (one of the little babies) was up on the culverts we have out there for them to play on, and did a high jump getting off to run to her Mom. She just leapt straight up in the air like she was going to take off flying, it was so funny. Then Buckingham got up on them...which is odd for him...and when he went to get off, he did a little twist as he jumped, like he was playing and it was so funny we had to laugh at him too. Both of them are only recorded in our memory now, since I was watching, without the camera to my face, and I kick myself for not getting them, as they would have been so cool to have a photo of!! Course even had I had the camera to my face, who knows if I would have managed to get them. :)

Well I better get off here and fix us some lunch, so I hope you all have a great day. I will have class work to do tomorrow, so unless I take some neat photos to share or just have to ramble I doubt I'll be posting on here. Have a great weekend in case I don't get back to posting till next week!! Thanks so much for your comments. :)

  1. Really nice LO's. The black backgroind looks really nice with the photos.
