Plans go awry...

It's been one of those weeks, when I feel like I'm high on a pole, watching life pass by, instead of getting in there and living it, and enjoying it. Mostly because I've been sick since Sunday. I don't do sick well, which makes it a good thing I don't get sick every year, but when I do finally manage to have it catch me, it holds on and doesn't let go till it's drag me up one side of that high pole and down the other.

Sometimes it's much worse than others, and while I've had worse, it sure seems to be holding on this time, just enough to annoy me. Being sick put a major crimp in my plans for this week, so one of the friends who was going to come visit couldn't. (the one I've never actually met before...needless to say I was so disgusted at my really REALLY bad timing!) So far the visit planned for this weekend by another friend is still on, I'm hoping it doesn't have to be put off for some reason too. I'm better now, except for the cold that's hanging on, but today I was extremely tired, way more than normal, so it's hard to keep my eyes open, yet if I go lay down I can't sleep. Odd, and so annoying, as I got nothing done again today, even though last night I thought I would be able to slowly start getting back into things today.

Needless to say this week seems to be a bust for scrapping...so we will see how next week goes. I have been thinking about a series of kits I wanted to make, but haven't even managed to get color's picked out for them between classes and not feeling well...so who knows when I'll put out another kit...could be another month or two. LOL

I hope everyone else has had a good week. I'm looking forward to Friday and hoping the nice long visit from Jamie will help me get out of this melancholy mood being sick has put me into. In case I don't get back here till next week, have a great weekend everyone!
