Gods Beautiful Vista's

Beautiful Morning

Home is where the heart is, is a phrase I've heard all my life. My heart is here in SE Nebraska for the most part, I love the hills and the cottonwood trees, the spring breezes carrying the smell of flowers or freshly turned soil, the beautiful grasses blowing in the breeze and the big beautiful sky overhead. I love our life here on our farm, with our animals and my wonderful hubby, but when I go back to Missouri where I grew up...the home of my youth, I realize that, that will always be home too, because I left a piece of my heart there in the beautiful green rolling hills and the trees and the memories of the past.

Beautiful Morning

I think I'll always remember the beauty of my youthful home as being one of the most beautiful places I've lived. I thought I'd share a few of the photos I took of the beauty around my Mom & Dad's farm, a beauty I grew up with and used to go for long walks in...a beauty I love to visit now and then.

Beautiful Morning

I took these photos on Sunday morning, the morning that Kali was graduating. It was a beautiful, cool morning, just the way I like them. The fog was rising off the bodies of water, and hanging in the low places. I was the first one up...well that morning DH actually woke me up saying I should see the fog, but he went back to bed, and I got dressed, grabbed my camera and went for a walk. I'm so glad I did, and thankful that he let me know what I was missing.

Beautiful Morning

It was even more beautiful with the fog, and as I tried to capture it with my camera, so I could enjoy it when I was back home again, I remembered those times when I was young and liked to get up before anyone else did and go for walks in the early mornings. Those cool mornings before the heat of the day took away the fresh smells of the grass and trees, and I could enjoy the solitude. I'm not sure what happen but I changed and preferred to sleep in instead of getting out and enjoying the morning, except for now and then. *giggle*

Beautiful Morning

As I watched the sky changing colors I enjoyed being "home" even if it was the home of my youth, it's always going to be home, no matter how attached I am to the one I'm sitting in now, as I write this. I love where we are now, but I also love visiting my past, and enjoying the beauty God has surrounded us with.

Beautiful Morning

I promise to move on now, and stop posting about our trip to my niece's graduation. *giggle* I just had to share these photos as a final post. I hope you all are having a good week, it's hard to believe that May is almost over already. Have a great day! :)
