Happy Anniversary to my Hubby!

I have been planning on taking my Illustrator classes this fall, with the last of my class money I saved from way last year. I actually planned on starting next month but since they were on sale the end of last month I decided to save some money and get them now so I started this month with the first round. I know almost nothing about Illustrator and haven't had the time to really do any tuts or anything so I'm pretty much starting from scratch on this program.

This month our teacher gave us all 4 weeks at the first of the month, because there will be some site maintenance going on later in the month, so we can work at our own pace, and not have to wait to get the next weeks work. I kinda like that, cause if I have time I can go on if I'm in the mood. Today I managed to get two weeks worth done, this picture being one of the lessons. We were learning to use the shape tools in Illustrator and had to make something with the shapes...and this is what I came up with. *giggle* What can I say...I'm odd I know. I thought of it, when I saw the polar grid tool, cause it reminded me of a target...so I just had to do this, instead of trying to think of something else to make.

I started out trying to make a "person" but it kinda turned out more like a strange bird which I knew...but DH had to actually voice it to me. Oh well, it was fun anyway, even if I do suck at "drawing"! *giggle* Anyway I just wanted to share it, cause it kinda made me laugh.

I also wanted to say Happy Anniversary to my wonderful hubby for tomorrow!! I love you and am the luckiest wife around because you are the BEST hubby!!!! We have a few plans, so didn't know if I'd get a post up tomorrow or not so had to say that now.

I hope you all have had a good weekend, we didn't get the snow they said we would (so far anyway)...just a few flurries although DH said they got several inches in Lincoln which is where we go to do major shopping...so it got close enough to us. Take Care out there and have a great week!
