Guess I'm done with Cherries

I got a photo of a few jars of cherry jelly last night, just thought I'd share it with you. I was getting the jars ready to put away...wiping them down and writing on the lids...when I set a couple up on the shelf on my wood cook stove. When I saw how pretty the jelly was with the sun shinning on them I had to get a photo.

I guess I'm probably done with cherries, even if there are more up there. I didn't get any pie filling canned, but had to let the cherries ripen more, and then didn't get around to getting anymore. Next week if it rains won't be a good week to work on them, cause we hope to hay...so I guess that's all we will get.

I've been fighting a headache all week this week, something that doesn't happen all that often, least not for that long. Yes I get headaches but not usually for several days straight. It wasn't a bad throbbing headache, just one of those that likes to come and kinda go away but never totally and leave you kinda fuzzy. However, finally today I feel much better!!!

I don't know what was causing it, but just in case it was the essential oils in the soap that I had made in the class I took, (I had them in the kitchen, and kept smelling them when I went in there) I took that soap and put it out on the side enclosed porch, so I didn't have to keep smelling it in the house. I did that last night...and today I'm better...may not have been it, but I think I need to get a drying shelf up out there, just in case it is. LOL I don't usually have that much trouble with smells, but maybe it's because I can handle it from one bar in the shower, but several bars will bother me. Who knows. I'm just happy to be feeling better! :)

I have also been trying to figure out how to change how colors appear on my laptop. I like how they look, but then if I print a photo out, they look different and I don't like that. When I look at my old computer screen, it looks more like what comes out of my printer...but I've not been able to get my laptop screen configured so it does to. I've noticed that DH's desktop screen is more like my laptop one, so not sure what they have changed, but it makes me think the newer computers are more like that...wish I could figure out how to make it the same, so I knew how things would look printed when I'm working in photo shop. I've googled it several times, and never came up with anything that worked. If anyone happens to know what I can do in windows 7 to make things look like the printer prints them let me know please!! :)

Other than that, not much new going on. Just trying to do housework, and DH is working on getting everything ready to hay. So far it's looking like it's suppose to be dry after Sunday for several days...so we are praying it stays that way, gotta get the hay done, so it can start growing again for a 2nd cutting! :) Plus the neighbor has a little patch he wants us to do...and a friend a few miles away has a 10 acre field he would like to have done on shares...if we have time and the weather stays dry enough to do it (although I'm sure that one won't be done next week). Busy BUSY Summertime! :)
