Missouri Sunrise

Missouri Sunrise

While visiting my parents this last weekend, I was able to watch a couple beautiful Missouri Sunrises. I don't know why, but it sure seems like my Dad has more colorful sunrises and sunsets over there than we do here. Maybe he just catches more of them on film, for me to drool over on his flicker account, or maybe he really does have more of them, I don't know...I just know I'm so glad I was able to watch a couple of them myself while we were visiting. :-))

The nice thing about this time was I didn't have to get up really early to catch them...since it's staying dark later! LOL

These three photos are from the last day we were there. I love the color in the clouds, and the trees silhouetted against all that color. Just beautiful!

We had a good weekend, and made it home Monday afternoon. We were so blessed to have been able to spend that long away, because of some new friends God has given to us. They did the milking while we were away...the the Man of their house said he likes milking...so I didn't feel so bad asking if they would, not that I'd want to ask very often.

Now if I could just get moving, and get things done around here...it's going to be a short week, and there are a lot of things I should get done before it's gone. Hoping to make more soap tomorrow...should have before then, but somehow the last couple days have flown by and I didn't get it done.

We did get the rest of the pumpkins out of the garden today...along with some of the other hardware we had to move, before we can plow it up. We ended up growing 44 pumpkins this year...not bad for our first time, thankfully the cows are enjoying them...or we would have WAY to many! :-))

Hope everyone is having a great week, it's going to be far to short for us I think! LOL

  1. We never get so nice of sunsets or sunrises out here. Bummer!!! I would enjoy trying to get photos of them. :)

Your pictures are beautiful, as usual. :)
